Wow this is alarming. I'm sure I know a lot of people who have done this (including myself). Sucks, because not everyone has access to a good camera, can take the types of pictures they need, or is a competent artist and can draw their own. The 'rightful owner' in this case didn't need any compensation for use of his pic, he was just being a dick. But it's good of her to come forward and warn everyone so we don't get caught up in the same sort of crap.
