Yep, story of my life.
Today, I'm ripping through my current manuscript, trying to make a go of it. I have stop and think to myself, why am I doing this?!
They aren't kidding, Young Lovers when they talk about being bitten by the writing bug. You are infected! It's almost like you want to suffer.
It feels like LADY GA-GA'S BAD ROMANCE.
So what do you do when you just have to do something even when it threatens to overtake you like a big ole wave??????????

ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to work on it this week as expected because we all have the flu (except middle boy - but he may be next). Oldest has been out all week and I'm doing pretty lousy. I haven't been up to fighting, er playing with photoshop. Not sure if I'll be able to work on it next week with Spring Break and all - I prefer a quiet, empty house so I can blast 'The Wall' and work in solitude. But it's not bad for a beginning photo, eh?
As for what you do when you feel like that? Well honey, you ride that wave. And you hold your head up and smile as the surf splashes your face. And then you ride it again and again until you're sated. I envy and miss that - it's a gift. A consuming gift, but still a gift. Don't waste it ;)
